This is one wild canyon of color, water and earthquake geology. Formed 600,000 years back from a volcanic explosion that eventualy forms a 1,200 foot canyon with
mind blowing waterfall and a vivid colorful cliffs some contain the dense rock rhyolite and lava debri in the form of various mineral crystals makes the rock and soil a carnival of color. Wow.
